About Lisa

Author and Speaker, Lisa Whittle is a natural leader and bold thinker. Her refreshing and contemplative voice appeals to both believers and non-believers alike. Lisa’s third and highly anticipated Barnabook, {w}hole, released in October of 2011, inviting deeper conversation within and between those in the church and whom it seeks to reach.

With her master’s work in Marriage and Family Counseling, Lisa is a successful ministry coordinator, mentor, and now the first solo female author to originally launch under the bestselling BarnaBooks label.  With a passionate call to represent Jesus well, Lisa speaks to audiences of men and women across the nation about becoming whole and living authentic.

She is a wife and mother of three, a passionate advocate for Compassion International, and she currently resides in North Carolina.  In addition to writing for Women of Faith, coordinating for Proverbs 31, and guest posting on blogs like Michael Hyatt, Catalyst, (in)courage and others, her other written work includes these titles:
